| Spokes 50km event. This is
a premier race for serious
competitors. It is a
varied mix of terrains including unsealed roads, flat farm tracks,
hilly farm tracks, and single lane forest tracks. It has a ideal
mix of
gradients starting at sea level and rising and falling to a top height
of 360m. Above average level of fitness and experience of mountain biking recommended. Entry criteria includes men/women, and junior (under 19), Open, and Masters (over 35). $45 for entries received before 28th Feb. $50 For entries received from 1/3/08 till 12/4/08. $60 for entries received after 12/4/08. | Gu 25km event. This is an experience not to
be
missed.
You may think that this is the event for Joe Average but you'll be Joe
Exhausted and Joe Elated after 25 kilometers climbing and diving
through forest and
farmland. We Know that you will enjoy the stunning views this
course offers. Average level of fitness and some experience of off road riding recommended for this ride. Novice riders note: at points in the track which are considered "technically difficult" we have created optional routes to allow you to stay on two wheels. Entry criteria includes men/women, and junior (under 19), Open, and Masters (over 35). $35 for entries received before 28th Feb. $40 For entries received from 1/3/08 till 12/4/08. $50 for entries received after 12/4/08. | Supreme Team (25km). Get
together with your mates, work
colleagues,
or club mates and vie for the title of Supreme Team.
We're encouraging you to make this personal. Sports clubs - challenge your old foes, office workers, challenge rival sections of companies. If you want to throw down the gauntlett to any other organisation just give us the details and we'll make sure your challenge goes up on our notice board and in our newsletters. Teams will compete on the 25k course. Teams can be from 3-6 riders. Final placings will be averaged and the team with the lowest average placing will be declared the Supreme Team for 2008. note: each rider must complete an entry form. One cheque may be sent to cover the whole team. Cost $30/rider for entries received before 12/4/08. $40/rider for entries received after 12/4. Printable entry form |
